Ben Losurdo-Holt is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland. They hold a bachelor’s degree from Wells College and master’s degree from the Simmons University School of Social Work. Ben’s clinical work began in Los Angeles, where they worked in clinical and community-based settings working primarily with youth experiencing homelessness and adults struggling with substance use, and has continued their clinical work here in Maryland working in the area of mental and behavioral health. Ben has advanced training in a variety of treatment approaches including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), narrative therapy, EMDR therapy, mindfulness, and group therapy. They also have advanced training and direct experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, trauma survivors, and those impacted by the commercial sexual exploitation of children. Ben enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and has experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, gender dysphoria, substance abuse, and other emotional and behavioral challenges.
